Privacy Policy

Cruise FM is a driving-companion music app. The short version: there is no Cruise FM account, there are no Cruise FM servers, and your data stays on your phone.
What stays on your device
Your display name, preferences (theme, data saver, notification choices), drive statistics, custom stations, linked playlists and your Spotify connection are stored only on your device. Cruise FM has no server and never uploads them anywhere. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
Spotify connection
If you connect Spotify, you sign in on Spotify’s own page — Cruise FM never sees your password. Spotify gives the app a token, stored only on your device, used to control playback and read your playlists so drives can play your music. You can disconnect at any time in Profile, and you can also revoke access at spotify.com under Apps. Your use of Spotify is governed by Spotify’s own terms and privacy policy.
Apple Music connection
If you connect Apple Music, you grant access through Apple’s own permission prompt — Cruise FM never sees your Apple ID or password. Playback runs in Apple’s Music app on your phone, which is why the lock screen and CarPlay controls keep working; Cruise FM reads what is playing so the visuals can follow it, and reads your playlist names so you can pick one for a station. To show the album cover, the song title and artist are sent to Apple’s public music catalogue, which returns the artwork — nothing about you is sent with it, and the result is cached on your phone. You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security → Media & Apple Music.
Microphone
Cruise FM does not use the microphone. Nothing is ever listened to, recorded, or analysed — the on-screen visuals run on their own animations.
Purchases
Cruise FM Premium is billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment is handled entirely by them — Cruise FM never sees your card details. Subscription status may be processed by RevenueCat, our billing infrastructure provider, which receives only an anonymous purchase record (never your identity or payment details).
Analytics and advertising
None. Cruise FM contains no analytics, no trackers and no advertising.
Crash reports
If the app crashes, an anonymous technical report (device model, OS version, and what the code was doing at the time) is sent to Sentry, our crash-reporting provider, so the bug can be fixed. Crash reports contain no name, no account details, no music history and no location, and are never used for advertising or tracking.
Children
Cruise FM is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them (it collects no personal information from anyone).
Deleting your data
Everything lives on your device, so deleting the app (or clearing its storage) removes all of it. To sever the Spotify connection completely, also remove Cruise FM under Apps in your Spotify account settings.
Changes to this policy
If Cruise FM ever changes how it handles data — for example if optional accounts are added — this policy will be updated and the change highlighted in the app before it applies to you.
Who makes Cruise FM
Cruise FM is made by Strofi Technologies. Strofi Technologies is the company behind the app; Cruise FM is its product. Nothing in this policy changes because of that — there is still no Cruise FM account and no Cruise FM server, and Strofi Technologies receives none of your data, because none of it ever leaves your phone.
